Hull City Guess the Score: forget Salut! Sunderland mugs, Defoe’s our prize

What you see is what you get – if you win the Sunderland-Hull City Guess the Score, that terrific print of Jermain Defoe’s five-in-a-row winner against Newcastle United is the prize from new friends of ours at Art of Football. Check out their Sunderland section by clicking anywhere on this paragraph …

Guess the Score has never been earlier. But then, there have not been many games as season-defining as Sunderland versus Hull City on Saturday.

Yes, I know we have said that kind of thing before, quite a lot over recent seasons, but this really is a vital test of whether our 2-1 win at Bournemouth was just a momentary, skin-of-the-teeth distraction from a Villa-style descent to the Championship – or the catalyst for instant revival.

And we are delighted to offer a new prize for anyone who is first to forecast the correct scoreline. Usual rules apply – we’d prefer a winner outside the UK to have a UK delivery address – and a Hull fan who wins would qualify for a print more in keeping with his/her allegiance.

Delighted to be able to offer something other than the mug, wonderful as the mug is, for a change …

  1. Im taking 2-0 to Us , clean sheet , 3 points , with Defoe and PVA to score if he plays 😉

    Haway The Lads !!!

  2. I shall be there, cheering of course – only a fool would boo.
Really want us to win but need the prize so it’s a 3-3 draw.

  3. 0-1 as a Hull City fan I have to predict a win for us, but that is good news for Sunderland fans as I haven’t got our score right all season so you’ll win.
It should be a great gritty game between two sides that both need the points.
Salut Sunderland is a great website, I always look forward to see what you have to say on our games.
