An interesting dilemma faces Jack Ross ahead of Peterborough away.
He made eight changes for the Carabao Cup visit to Burnley and watched in admiration as the team came from behind to secure a marvellous 3-1 win and a third round trip to another Premier League side, Sheffield United.
There were excellent individual performances – Denver Hume, Luke O’Nien, Jack Baldwin and George Dobson being among the names that stood out in the commentary – but above all it seems to have been an exemplary team display.
So the winning side picks itself for Posh? It does not. The team Ross played in the last league game, at home to AFC Wimbledon, also won 3-1. Aiden McGeady and Chris Maguire, absent on Wednesday night, will surely be among the first names on the team sheet for this Saturday and it is difficult to see other than a return in goal for Jon McLaughlin,well as Lee Burge played at Burnley.
Tell us how you feel Ross should approach the job of selecting a starting 11 capable of making it seven wins in a row. And tell us, just for fun, how the match will end.

Phew! I thought someone may have beaten me to it but I am safe to win the no prize prize with a 5-4 win to The Lads – Yippee!
I’ll go for The Lads to win 3-1 again, but expect this may be a tough one.
Having watched the 7-1 cup win in 1967 I thought all our games would be like that. Sadly I was wrong but we’ve had the better of the results against Posh over the years. Mostly a low scoring affair so I’ll go for 0-2 result for the resurgent Lads.

Again as there no mug up for grabs I don’t mind getting in early.
Saturday’s team will to some extent depend upon who’s fit and who’s not.
Whilst I can’t do anything but feel sorry for Duncan Watmore we have surely got to the point where it will prove difficult to include him in any sort of long term plan, other than maybe as an impact sub. I’m not advocating that the club shouldn’t stand by him and oversee his recovery but when he is fit again it may be more sensible to let him go out on loan if possible to aid his rehabilitation and give him some regular game time.
Maguire it seems may be struggling and McNulty may or may not be ready. With that in mind I’d be tempted to go with:
McLaughlin J, McLaughlin C, Willis, Ozturk, Hume, Leadbitter, McGeouch, Gooch, McGeady, O’Nien, Wyke.
Much as I’d love another win I’d settle for a 0-0 draw so 4-1 to us. (O’Nien, Wyke, Grigg, McGeady)
