Podcast! Road trip, anyone?

It was a tired podcast this week, as you can imagine. Myself and Goldy managed to drag our happily weary heads back from Manchester, just in time for our studio slot. It was all purely down to the emotion, rather than alcohol. Honest. So we were pretty happy. We’ve both rarely experienced scenes like it at a football match. Anybody who was there can testify to that fact. A naked man ended up passed out upside down in front of me. Standard evening all round then.

We hold it together for long enough in order to analyse a dramatic win at Old Trafford, preview another cup tie with Kidderminster, then look ahead to a massive Premier League game against Stoke next week. It’s non stop for Sunderland at the moment. It’s also quite nice doing the podcasts because we don’t seem to lose very often. If at all. Cheers, Gus!

Joining us in the studio this week was The Shields Gazette’s Gary Foster, Paul ‘Sobs’ Dobson from A Love Supreme and we had a lovely chat on the phone with TeamTalk’s Mark Holmes.

I’ll keep this brief, the podcast is already late up on the site. Seems appropriate given Wednesday night though, doesn’t it?
