Here is day two of Paul Goldsmith’s account of his Hong Kong odyssey. See the first, exceptionally well-received instalment here: https://safc.blog/2013/07/salut-sunderlands-hong-kong-diary-where-are-the-tottenham-and-man-city-fans/.
As we await kickoff against Spurs later this morning, today’s report is restricted mainly to another attempt at a photo gallery. This may may well prove a greater challenge than Monsieur Salut’s website skills can handle.
The verbal update from Paul includes good news on the ticket front: “I’ll update diary tomorrow if anyone interested as it’s been messy. Got ticket now for match so surprisingly still on drink. Surely must sleep soon.”
The photos show, in no particular order, Paul with his pals Tommy and Lynn (Goldy Senior in the middle); the view from his hotel room; that room itself; a bar’s advertisement for the game; a red and white but unstriped taxi (Paul, a cabbie himself, couldn’t resist snapping the tool of his Hong Kong confrere’s trade) and the generic tour image.
