Right fellas. Ive been a good boy and given Mr Grayson the benefit of the doubt.
I called for his head after not reaching the minimum 10 points from 10 games cut off.
I listened to all the arguments excusing his abysmal abject nonsensical tactics, his team selections and lately his smug fan questioning demeanour.
I gave him the grace of 15 games to achieve 15 points. We now have 2 games left for him to do this, both at home, in which he needs maximum points.
Impossible? No. Likely? Again No.
Simon Grayson perfectly dovetails between a hapless dejected group of players, and a cluless frigid board treading water.
A perfect example of game management under Grayson can be summed up by todays game at Brentford.
Finally listening to advice from others, including a lot of fans forums, he selects Grabban and continues to give Watmore a marauding role.
All is well. 3 one up at half time.
Then the real Simon Grayson, with all his failings, emerged for the second half.
At 3 one down Brentford went to 443 from 352 at half time. Did Grayson counter this? No.They outnumbered us in attack. Result…Goal conceded.
At 3 2 down Grayson decides to take off our best player Watmore, and ‘shut up shop’ 90s style, with the leagues worst defence.
Taking Watmore off simply denied us an outlet, took pressure off Brentford and invited them onto us.
Result…goal conceded.
This is Simon Graysons mindset and tactical nous in a nutshell, and is proof that he needs to go, and now.
