Sixer’s Sevens from Burnley: ‘probably the worst Sunderland display this century’

Jake: ‘sorry it’s late but not as sorry as that sorry shower of sh*** should be’

Monsieur Salut writes: unhappy texts flowed between Turf Moor and me today. I cannot recall an occasion when it seemed right to post Pete Sixsmith‘s seven-word instant verdict as the headline. This was one. I watched and listened as best I could and Gary Bennett got it spot-on – ‘no communication, no will to win, no belief, no character’ …

  1. Difference was Ken that this was a vital game.. ….and we played like that. A horrible day. Burnley know what they have to do and do it. We don’t.

  2. Gardner rarely plays for West Brom. But their fans will be laughing at the Anichebe injury. They told us that he would be injured 95% of the time and they are right. We may like Big Vic but you don’t build decent premiership teams around the Anichebes and Pienaars of this world.

    • We have loads of players who rarely play for Sunderland: the long-term injured, the u 18 squad, the 1st team…

  3. Coates player of season at Sporting….still technicaly ours.
Evans player of season and Gardner doing a steady job at West Brom.
    Lens doing well at Fenerbache.
Gus Poyet is now Tevez manager in China.
Big Sam about to add insult to injury keeping Palace up at our expense.
God our recruitment staff and management have been utter dross.
Our club has been used and abused over the last 6 years. Culminating in our inevitable relegation, unless Boro fall in a heep.
    Shocking.
