Malcolm Dawson writes….Pete Sixsmith has had a busy week. Tow Law on Friday, Wembley on Saturday, Sunderland on Sunday, Birmingham on Wednesday and doubtless some more non league games in between. Today saw him back in the capital at Loftus Road. I’m betting he would rather have gone to Pad!iham v Shildon instead

  1. And the need for variation in tactics? That’s irrelevant, is it? Too long to change to 2 front men and the crumbling at QPR hitting the bar was alarming. The idea of the ‘squad’ being to blame is too easy, this was a game we should have won with the players on call. I’m sure we’ll do fine this season, but Poyet does seem a little naive at times. Find a place for Giaccherini! The most intelligent footballer in the squad by a mile.

  2. Poyet is happy with the performance? It strengthens his hand in the transfer saga, the need to recruit has been fully demonstrated.
