One of my best friends is a Sunderland supporter as well as his dad. I think it was back in 2011, he told another friend to ask me how Southend were doing because ‘he doesn’t look that far down the fizzy pop league!’.

With Plymouth playing Scunthorpe, Southend are down if they lose. A draw is only a good result for them if Plymouth and Scunny draw AND Walsall don’t win.
So I would expect them to go for a win. They might go all gung ho and leave themselves exposed or they might sit back and hope to catch us on the break.
A goal early doors for us and it could be a landslide.
Other than that I won’t put my prediction until others have had a chance to win the mug but it’ll be 6-0 when I do.

I realise now that 4-1 was a ludicrous score to choose for Fleetwood so will revert to my much more sensible banker prediction of 4-3 to The Lads.
