The Wimbledon vs Sunderland prize Guess the Score: after Gillingham, some act to follow

There is a prize. A great one? Depends whether you think a coffee mug can ever be great

Pete Sixsmith is on his southern travels, taking in assorted games and lots of culture between Gillingham and south-west London. He’ll be at the match on Saturday having witnessed the 4-1 win over the Gills.

However you manage to follow the game – and the plaintive social media appeals for spare ticket show how tight its been for SAFC supporters – have a go at guessing the score.

A mug will be sent to the first person to predict the correct scoreline. Chris Boyle, a fairly regular Guess the Score winner, was right on the Gills results. See if you can emulate him.

As always, all readers – including any stray Wimbledon supporters – are invited to enter. The design of the prize mug will reflect the winner’s own allegiance. But you must have a UK delivery address.

Ha’way the Lads. Make us all happy with another win …

  1. I have gone for 6 0 every game so far, mainly because as an “employee” lol I don’t think I should be eligible for the prize but it looks less and less like an unlikely scoreline.

But I’m not changing now. Wombles 0 Sun’lan 6 McGeouch, Maguire, Maja, Mumba, (accompanied by M People’s “Movin’ On Up”) Loovens and James.

  2. Conceding an early goal left my prediction in tatters. But, hey ho, keep on keeping on. Wimbledon can go back to litter picking after a 4 0 drubbing.

  3. 2-2. Seems to me we are a 1st half high pressing team but obviously can’t sustain the effort for 90 mins. Winning the 2nd half 1-0 against Gillingham was good but this time we share the spoils after being 2-1 up at half time.
