Just one more rumour? Maybe, but it reached Salut! Sunderland from someone described as a “good contact” and goes like this: Roy Keane has left the club, Ricky Sbragia and Neil Bailey will be in charge of the team for Saturday’s thrashing in waiting at Old Trafford and there’ll be a press conference at SAFC today.
These are desperate times for Sunderland supporters.
But good contact or no (and “good contacts” have a habit of turning out to be the programme seller’s best mate), Salut! Sunderland is taking it with a pinch of salt, and a lorryload of desert sand.
