As I’ve stated repeatedly, I’m not really one for the must win game theory. Sure, they do exist. If you need to win on the last game of the season to stay up, a scenario all too familiar to us, then that certainly falls into the category. This Norwich game really is important though.
We’ll have 10 games to go and we should be earmarking points at Carrow Road so we give ourselves a good chance going into that final thrust. Games will be coming thick and fast, which played to our advantage during our cup runs and Christmas fixtures. These games in hand could be a blessing in disguise? Or am I clutching at straws. Either way, 3 points on Saturday would be a timely boost.
This weeks episode of the Wise Men Say podcast saw us agonise over what could have been last Saturday against palace. Are we better served playing these kinds of sides away from home? What on earth is going on with Steven Fletcher? Is it time to make Fabio Borini the main man through the middle? Yes is the answer to that last one, by the way. Resoundingly so.
We preview the Norwich game, obviously. Goldy is so nervous he can’t even say Carrow Road properly. We got some help from Norwich writer Gary Gowers to look at this one.
In the studio we had Damian Spellman from the Press Association, along with regular contributor Craig Clark from over at Roker Report. So join us once again! You can listen on Soundcloud or even subscribe on iTunes. Thanks!
