Sixer’s Sevens: Fulham 1 SAFC 3 – Ming, yes, but there were others and we can score…

Jake gives Sixer star billing

John Mac, once again in charge, has a long-held belief, having lived down south, that we don’t do well in that there London. But, when things are at their darkest, Pete Sixsmith sends a seven word text up the M6 that proves him wrong…

Jake says it. We have Fletch, Cuellar and Sess with a pearler. Can we score? Oh yes!

  1. I had to listen to Andy Townsend who for what ever reason is anti Sunderland, he was adament it was not a red card which indicates his lack of understanding of the rules, a two footed tackle is a leg breaker and Hangland knew immediatley he was off he gave little protest. Sunderland had a man sent off a Newcastle last season it did not result in a thrashing and we were unlucky not to win. A team should know how to play with 10 men and Fulham had no clue

  2. That goal by Fletcher proves that he’s a natural striker, provide him with the right ammo and he’ll put away his fair share of chances, he showed great skill and composure before slotting it home. And hopefully that beauty from Sess will cheer the bugger up, he’s had a face like a slapped arse all season!

  3. I think it was Davie Provan and not Craig Burley who provided the irritant value on Sky today.

I know it is hard to tell as both are complete tools and a waste of a wage.

I agree about having a ‘no commentary’ option. It would be wonderful not to have to listen to the constant verbal diahorrea of Clive Tyldsley, the condesending and patronising rubbish spouted by Ian Croker and the iname drival that Alan Parry contributes.

Back to the game, a very welcome 3 points even though we got just about every break imaginable going for us today. We still have to beat 11 men this season however it could turn out to be a crucial win.

  4. Finally we make ten men pay; Most important win for some time, keep it up lads. By the way the worst thing about sky today was Craig Burley!

  5. Delighted.A good continuation from Goodison, but even so I was grateful for the final whistle.Excellent goals and a goalkeeper of whom we can be proud.Bring on the Baggies.

  6. I had a suspicion that we were going to do well today. After last week I thought we had started to get things together. Cracking goal by Sess and an excellent controlling role in midfield by Cattermole.
    Onwards and upwards!

I thought the commentary by Alan Parry was shocking- time for Sky to adopt the red button ‘no commentary’ facility I think!
