Another mixed week in world of Sunderland Association Football Club, but that comes as no surprise. It’s also no surprise that we did another podcast this week, because that’s what we do. After another defeat in particularly catastrophic circumstances, we went and followed it up with a victory against Southampton and a passage into the quarter finals of a cup competition. Guess which one we decided to focus most of our attention on?
We try not to dwell too much on red cards and focus on the football, formation, progression and Gus’s stamp (no pun intended) on the team. We were joined by The Northern Echo’s Richard Mason, who is becoming a bit of a podcast regular. We also had Paul ‘Sobs’ Dobson from A Love Supreme come along and give us his views.
We previewed the Manchester City game with Sam Rosbottom. He’s a broadcast journalist, City fan and contributor to the popular Blue Moon podcast.
