Let’s throw another mug into the ring and hope it doesn’t shatter into many pieces.
A prize Salut! Sunderland mug – design to suit the allegiance of the winner so Palace fans can enter – is on offer for the Palace game. No one was correct on the QPR score (except our QPR interviewee, John Crowley, and he didn’t post his prediction in the Guess the Score slot.)
Palace? We can win. I will not say we have no option to winning if we we really want to get out of trouble as we rarely rise to the occasion when a match is described as must win. One point out of 15 is a lamentable so with Stoke, Burnley, Bournemouth, West Ham and Swansea – our fellow bottom-six teams – all at home, it does not take any great footballing knowledge to work out what defeat could mean for us.
Just get cracking with your scorelines and stand by for a long but engrossing Palace “Who are You?”.
USUAL RULES: first to post the correct scoreline, before kickoff, wins the mug for which he or she must have a UK delivery address. Monsieur Salut’s decision will be final.
Ha’way the Lads.
I feel a 3-3 coming on. It would be so unlike us to start winning this early in the season!
The Lads to win 3-0 and head up the table.
Bill H is going for 3-1 to the Lads. I fancy he might be right.
4 nowt and a noisy pub in Pernera.
Palace 0 – 1 Sunderland, a Clean sheet at last.
2-0 to Sunderland. We need a win.
Same score as against QPR 2-1 to SAFC.
Posting my prediction from Poitiers;
Sunderland deux buts, Palace un but.
2-2, repeat of last year
