John McCormick writes: Earlier today I e-mailed Pete Sixsmith asking if he could get me a ticket for the Liverpool game. A little later came the first of three texts: ” Defending was a total and utter embarrassment”.
You can see the second below in the latest of Sixer’s Sevens.
And the third? Well Pete’s working on 26 November and I’ll be subbing for him at Anfield. I must be daft. I didn’t have to send that e-mail

We need to remember that Allardyce could still be done for disrepute and have to serve a ban from the game. Not much point in wishing for him back, although it is entirely possible for this club to appoint a banned manager. Nothing would surprise me.
Would it make any difference to our current form ?
This outfit is utter crap,I cant see anything other than were going down. They say Moyes has come to rebuild, that means we have to watch this crap for a season,go down then maybe 2 or 3 seasons in the championship, but if we do eventually get back in the premiership we will still need to build again to buy the players we will need to stay there.I for one would love to see Sam come back,if he took over next week im sure he would give the place a hugh lift to the players and supporters and get them playing like we did at the end of last season. If Sam could save us from going down,we would be in the premiership and could buy good players who Sam wants and get these players back on track…….But it will never happen,,,
If Sam came back there’s no guarantee that we would sign the good players that he wants. He expressed a need to bring in new players before the England job came up and there was absolutely no business done before he went. We have been rubbish for years under successive managers. Moyes may be struggling but so was O’Neill, Poyet, Di Canio and Advocaat. We can go on chopping and changing managers every 9 months or so but I can’t see the club improving while Ellis Short sets the agenda.
It is all about another dreadful subsitution and a total lack of any form of tactics.
Last week Jones for Khazri
This week Jamuzhaj for Pienaar. The way we lost our way was spectacular.
I say it again MOYES OUT!!!!!!!
Damned if we do,damned if we don’t. Who would want the job.If Moyes stays it’s time for him to gamble and bung in some of our youngsters…..nothing to lose and it would get the fans back on side.
And then?
Do Sunderland have a midfield? Apparently not and boy do we need an in form Cattermole. The team is so disjointed and seems to play to its own weaknesses. Arsenal are obviously so superior but to make it so easy is unforgivable.
No, Sixer, you’re wrong! Spectacular collapse as soon as Januzaj appeared. Gibbs had the freedom of the park to set up one goal, set up another chance and hit the post because Moyes brought on a player who offers nothing! We could have seen that game out with the correct substitution, instead he brought on his personal favourite and threw the game away. I’ve tried to support Moyes, but that decision was appalling.
Abysmal and Moyes is deluded .
