Out with the mugs and in with the print or t-shirt. For the next two games, Guess the Score has the ear of those excellent people at Art of Football, occasional sponsors of Salut! Sunderland competitions and run by Nottingham Forest fans among whom we found a Who are You? candidate earlier in the season.

So guess the score in Sunderland vs Fulham, be first with the right scoreline and you will win one of the two Niall Quinn/Kevin Phillips items shown: a fine print or a t-shirt depicting two heroes of Sunderland’s relatively recent past.

Fulham and – a week later – Birmingham City fans need not fret and cry foul. If one of them should win (and the Who are You? interviewee’s prediction will in each case by the valid entry for the scoreline chosen), Art of Football will come up with something applicable to the team he or she supports.

Wear Niall and SuperKev with pride

And bear in mind that Art of Football has a cracking range of football items, including lots related to Sunderland, and is worth exploring for Christmas presents or simply to please yourselves. Check out the site at this link.

As for the match, Ha’way the Lads after a good draw at Wolves to add to a decent start for Chris Coleman. Four points in three games is hardly the stuff to write home about but it is a darned site better than what we were getting before and gives real hope that Sunderland can finally start to climb the table – if only back-to-back home games are seen as an opportunity, not a curse.

  1. The eternal optimist again I would have liked a clean sheet after all the good work ethic at wolves but someone in before with my usual so hope I’m wrong and we do keep a clean sheet all out attack 4-1to the lads will we keep grabban for 2nd half of the season come on Eddie don’t recall him he’s s better off here

  2. I think we are starting to look harder to beat but home nerves will get the better of us and we concede two – but score three!
    Yippee!

  3. Right, one attempt at winning. If unsuccessful, I’ll buy a print. I have 2 already – superb. 1 – 1 and the misery continues.

  4. 2-0.
    One day it will happen.

It’s coming up to a year since I was at the SOL. A case of

Been there, haven’t got the T shirt

I don’t expect I’m eligible so this score could be claimed by a lucky reader.

  5. WE Have the Fulham Who are You? interviewee’s prediction. Coleman and team to avert their eyes – Russell Goldman reckons 2-1 to Fulham
