The crowd reaction was rapturous. It was akin to the second coming of the Lord or the roar that used to bounce around the Stadium in the halcyon days of Quinn and Phillips. The place simply erupted in joy and pleasure and in the realisation that we may just have got a particularly uncomfortable monkey off our backs.

While a win exorcised many demons ( no opening day day win since adam was a boy, coming from behind to win) and also took some pressure off I feel must be the one to wee on the french fries.
Our defence is and was bloody awful. Ozturk looks like the love child of bramble and boomsong on their absolute worst days. Loovens never was fast and has now 2 speeds..stop and creak. Love and Matthews continue to confound and disappoint. Hopefully a fit flanagan and baldwin will tighten us up because in all honesty charlton could have seriously embarassed us first half.
Mind you any result that irks bowyer is manna from heaven. I’ll leave it that except to say I hope his next kkk branch meeting shows a video of maja’s goal.
Mumba maja and Honeyman l9ok the business and maybe honeyman is just getting used to the new responsibilities. Here’s hoping.
I remain unconvinced by maguire. He strikes me as wanting to please the fans ( rightly so ) and his soundbites and movement look the part. His set piece delivery though was awful and just too wasteful. What on earth was he doing for that penalty???
Anyway as it is a sunday I shall get back in my box and try and just enjoy 3 points.
