You may have noticed the ad already. Salut! Sunderland‘s latest little collaboration is with Campo Retro, which markets snappy SAFC-related tops of the sort you see in the flashing gallery.
The lads at Campo have come up with the idea of a competition – all replies to them, not us (see below) – with a retro shirt as the prize. All right-minded Sunderland supporters will find the question impossibly easy. But the more who enter, the merrier and the winner will be chosen at random from correct replies.
You’ll be helping Salut Sunderland if you get involved.
This is how Campo Retro presents it:
Salut Sunderland and Campo Retro have come together to offer all Sunderland fans a fantastic opportunity to win a Sunderland retro shirt with any name & number on the back.Campo Retro has a wide range of Sunderland retro shirts available. With classic shirts and track jackets ranging back from 1973 to 2000, not only that, but Campo Retro will also print any name and number that you want on the back of the shirt to make it extra special.
This competition is open to entrances from all over the world, so whether you live in Sunderland, London or Australia, you still have a great chance to win this fantastic prize. It couldn’t be simpler to enter this competition, all you have to do is answer the simple question below and email your answer to competitions@camposports.com.
It’s that simple. The competition closes at midnight on February 14 2014, the eve of the FA Cup 5th round versus Southampton (as timings stand) and the winner will be announced soon after. The winner will receive an email from Campo Retro to request information on shirt size, personalisation and delivery address. All entries will also receive an exclusive discount to use at www.camporetro.com
QUESTION: Who scored Sunderland’s first goal in the promotion playoff final against Charlton Athletic in 1998? Reply by e-mail with your answer to competitions@camposports.com.
** Danny, at Campo Retro, adds: “I’ve got my fingers crossed for you in the final, as an FC United of Manchester fan I hope you do the blue noses!!”
