Pete Sixsmith no doubt put his winter woolies on today as a cold wind whistled round the SoL. Did anything warm him up? Here’s his instant verdict, in seven words, on a game I thought was lost but might in the end have been won, albeit with plenty more scares at our end ..:

  1. A strange a game as I have seen at SOL in a while. At 2-0 down we looked like we might get a thrashing.Borini scores out of nowhere and we are back in it.

Second half we showed a resiliance we have come to expect.Well happy with a point against a fine flowing football team with a 2 goal start.

Downsides for me were Cattermole,Larsson and Altidore.Much better as a team with them withdrawn.Overall Poyet got it right. We have to use the whole squad what with all these games in Januaury.

But boy do we need a centre forward.Hopefully Poyet has one marked out.

    • Altidore is not up to the job, we should try and sell him back to the Dutch league before he becomes worthless and we’re stuck with another exspensive flop.
