SAFC vs Peterborough prize Guess the Score: more than a mug at stake

Jake: ‘Like a cup final? Nah, much more important than that!’

If Sunderland beat Peterborough on Tuesday night, that would be our result of the season so far.

Posh have been playing outstanding football and are still second, two places above us, despite unexpectedly dropping two home points against Blackpool while we, slightly disappointingly, could only draw at Coventry, What greater test of the Jack Ross revolution could there be at this stage of our own season?

Monsieur Salut will soon be on the road back to the UK and plotting a first visit to the SoL for later in the month. Three points on Tuesday would be a cracking welcome-home present.

Have a go at guessing the score. The prize is usually a mug but if a Sunderland-supporting reader rightly predicts a home win and is the first to do so, with the correct scoreline of course, he or she will receive a modestly enhanced prize (to be determined). A Posh winner would have to make do with a mug!

And don’t forget. The winner must have a UK delivery address.

Ha’way the Lads.

  1. Finally, I am getting to a game. The news will seep through to the team and they will do the right thing – 4-3 to The Lads.

  2. 6 – 0 Sinclair 2, Power, Maguire, Baldwin, Oviedo.

Peterborough have chances but fail to get past an inspired McLaughlin.

  3. Sunderland 4 – 1 Peterborough as its now traditional, but I suspect we may see a two’s apiece.

Important game this one and we are only firing intermittently, but we have the potential to get much better.

    Keep the faith.
