I agree Keith, why shouldn’t a club like ours with the support it’s got expect to win trophies? It’s a disgrace that we’ve only won one cup since the 30s. We’ve only qualified for Europe once and never got anywhere near winning the league. It’s about time we stopped punching beneath our weight and showed some real ambition. PDiC seems to agree with me.
Thing are put into perspective when Ellis Short states MON lost his job due to the unacceptable results over the last 12months, it wasn’t a knee jerk decision and sends out the message, I’ll give you time but I expected improvement. PDC can’t accept a club like Sunderland haven’t won anything for 40 years. Different slant on be told every year our expectation are too high. He’s a one off but he just seems the right fit.

The truth of the matter is that in their league position the only way they will get close to Europe again is if they go and park the team bus at Dover! FTM
PDC does it again,this is no flash in the pan,hard to believe the turn around he has performed.Whole team played briliantly.We might have a centre forward who cannot score but it doesn’t seem to matter.

Well done to sunderland today thoroughly deserved the 3 points. As an Evertonian the only positive I can take out of today I’d that it takes a proper team 3 points closer to safety, and also Di Canio will always be remembered and respected by Evertonians for catching the ball v West Ham (I was there and the single best example of fair play I’ve seen in 17 years in my seat). Good luck for the rest of the season lads an lasses, hopefully see you next season! An Everton Season ticket holder
