So Altidore came on, hit one chance wide, tumbled over in another good position and looked in vain for a penalty. In the end, it was back to where we were before safety was secured. Oh well, this is Sunderland after all – and I believe someone got the right answer in the Guess the Score …

  1. After the immense effort of gaining survival, maybe this was to be expected. Having said that it was awful to gift them three goals like that, although they took them well.

I am totally drained, this season has been very demanding, the highs the lows.

I would like to thank the guys that make this site so good, they put in a tremendous effort.

Time for a rest before it all starts again. Let hope in Gus we now have a chance to kick on, next season could be our start of something we have not seen since Peter Reid.

    Here.s hoping.
